The Celery Stick Café offers delicious, all-natural, convenient meals made from scratch daily for the Concord Cooperative Market and Kearsarge Cooperative Grocer.

Hot Bar

The Celery Stick Café’s Hot Bar is available seven days a week at our Concord Co-op. This is not your typical lunch fare. Chefs Mike and John create unique, delicious dishes that change daily. We're thrilled to have our Café voted Best Healthy Lunch in New Hampshire by New Hampshire Magazine's Best of NH 2011. Bakery

Our Pastry Chefs create a delicious array of cookies, scones, pastries, tarts, and other goods daily which are available in our Bakery case. Special orders are always welcome. (Vegetarian and Gluten-free options available).

 

Grab N Go

Grab N Go sandwiches and salads, including vegan options, are available at both Kearsarge and Concord Co-ops. Our Concord store features a wider array of choices, which can range from meatloaf to pizza and cheesecake to apple crisp depending on the day.

 

Meet our Chefs

Chef Mike Cook, Executive Chef, came to the Celery Stick Café in 2007, but he has been cooking since the age of 14. He has a background in fine arts, which may explain the creativity manifest in his dishes. His favorite part about working at the Co-op is the access to unique and interesting fruits and vegetables. Although some of these items are exotic, he always tries to incorporate as many local and seasonal ingredients into his hot lunch menus and catered events as possible.

Chef Mike’s favorite style of cooking is Latin-inspired, which you can taste in his favorite hot lunch dish, Jerk Pork. Even though Chef Mike creates new menus for us each day of the week, he particularly enjoys catering because it allows him to customize each dish to the client. Next time you’re in Concord, swing by the Co-op to try some of his seasonally-inspired hot bar delights. Remember, if you’re hosting an event, Chef Mike is never more than a phone call away. Chef John Riccelli, Sous Chef, won’t say exactly how long he’s been a Chef. Suffice to say, it’s been more than 30 years. After receiving his culinary degree at Johnson and Wales in 1981, he owned his own grocery store and ran a number of kitchens with crews as large as 30. Chef John loves to work with seafood; he feels that it’s the most versatile and allows him the most creativity. He enjoys working at the Co-op because of the constant feedback from customers – something Chefs don’t often get in traditional kitchens.

As a natural food grocery store and café, we are well versed in special dietary needs for our customers. We can provide a wonderful menu of dairy-free, gluten-free, or other requests. Please let us know what your needs are. We will be happy to work with you. (Please note that while we can make delicious recipes free of certain ingredients, we are a full-service kitchen, and cross-contamination may occur.)

Scheduling Your Order
We require a minimum of 48 hours in advance order prior to your event.
We have delivery service available in the Concord area for just $10 per event.
